Lemons and crystals at Villa Padierna

Here is a preview of a wedding we created at Villa Padierna, such a wonderful setting and hotel.
More weddings this year there and this day was beautifully hot, but have to say a bit too hot for us, I burnt my ears!!! More photos to come of this fabulous wedding with a crystal lemon and white theme, this photo was sent to me by the hotel itself but we will nag the photographer David Toms for more photos!
Our thanks to Scott at Sunshine Weddings for getting us involved in this fabulous wedding.
Have to admit I had to stay to see the bride enter and it bought tears to my daughter's eyes as she looked so beautiful :)

Stunning pink wedding at the Don Carlos Hotel

Not sure where the weeks are going at the moment!
As the wedding season here in Spain is well and truly underway, here is a beautiful wedding we were hired to decorate by Sue at Spanish Dream weddings at the Don Carlos Hotel here in Marbella. We thoroughly enjoyed this wedding and had many comments whilst on site, as the beach club guests wandered through our petal garland and crystal entrance and admired our cocktail area decorations. The grand finale though was the fabulous setting by the pool.

Long distance wedding design!

Vicki contacted us last August to ask for our help in designing her daughter Megan's wedding at the Boardwalk Beach Resort in Panama City Beach in Florida.
After a few emails and some photos we helped Vicki to create this fabulous beach wedding by sending some decorating ideas along with strict instructions, hints and tips! We love these photos and Megan looks beautiful, what a fabulous beach wedding.
We received this lovely email yesterday from Vicki along with the photos of the wedding of Megan and Joshua, here's what Vicki had to say to us

You are too kind and again thanks for all your help with making Meagan and Joshua's wedding complete!!!! When we get more pics I will send. We had a blast and everything was perfect. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!- Take Care, Vicki

Bride's thank you's

We were thrilled to receive this email this morning from our lovely bride and groom at the Puente Romano, Sam & Damien.

Hi Laura

Hope you are well.

Now that we are back down to earth Damian and I just wanted to write and thank you for the beautiful flowers for our wedding. You did an amazing job and they looked absolutely stunning. We really appreciate everything that you did to help make our special day so perfect.

Thanks once again.

Best wishes

Sam & Damian
It is so lovely to receive these emails after the weddings.

The Magical Garden Sneak Preview!

I am sure Jeremy will put me to shame when I see his photos of this wedding! But here is my sneak preview until I get the pro's :) What a wonderful wedding this was and such fun to do, with our white and lime daisy theme, bubbles and a magically lit up garden for the evening. Check back when the pro's photos arrive, can't wait to see them! Jeremy kindly gave up his Saturday night to come back and photograph the garden at night so I owe him a large beer!

Party Inspiration

I fell in love with these images found on Once Wed, with their new look blog (fab) created by stylist Joy Thigpen. This to me somes up a perfect get together with friends under a beautiful display of lanterns, reminds me of the Mamma Mia film sitting under the candles, wonderful. Think the staple gun will have to get to work soon on my terrace ceiling! I love these photos shoots though, notice from a stylists point of view that all the wine glasses have been filled to exactly the same height, as if! Wonderful we need more of these beautiful settings.

Candy Bar Inspiration

Finally I am able to spend some time browsing some of the lovely wedding blogs and found this wonderful candy bar inspiration from Primadonna blogspot, just fell in love with the white chocolate fish and chips as loved them as a child, and the candy bags, say no more am totally inspired!
My apologies for not being on here as often as I should now, the wedding season here is well underway!

No peace for the wicked!

Ok so finally after all the clearing down, signing off and far too much work for a Sunday, I head to the pool only to be confronted by this little twinkle toes, my youngest, who decided it would be a great game to chuck water all over us for the afternoon! No peace for the wicked!

Wedding at Puente Romano

We love this venue, it is such a fabulous Spanish setting, so Andalucian.
Here we have yet again my snapshots from the day, and am promised more wonderful photos to come from the photographer :)
A beautiful vintage style bouquet, the wonderful scene for the ceremony and of course the fabulous Patio at Puente Romano set out for this wedding, with our table centrepieces and crystals supplied by the bride, simple & elegant within such beautiful surroundings.

More weddings to come from this weekend as our birdcages went up to Granada and we created two more weddings, one was a lovely soft pink wedding we sent up to the hills behind Malaga and the other to Nerja! We have been promised the photos :)

After a very hectic few weeks with none less than 4 weddings this weekend, we are delighted to show our fabulous wedding at Los Monteros with a black and white theme. There will be more photos to come of this wedding, these are our snapshots!

Our creative bride had thought out many details which we designed with her and created the theme of black and white with pearls.

There will be photos of the church in Marbella to come with all the bridal flowers, we created the fans decorated with black and white ribbons and pearls, the confetti cones again to match plus the mass booklets for the church, I took some snapshots before they left here!

For the reception we decorated miniature cava bottles for the girls with name tags tied on with white ribbons, decorated with pearls and a black straw and for the men we did cigars, again with name tags but decorated with black ribbons plus we had a fun time doing a lovely Disney Clubhouse kids table for her little girl who was also celebrating her second birthday, complete with Disney Clubhouse party bags, balloons and of course a birthday cake :)
Our lovely martini's adorned the tables, although they were on and off for a while due to the wind, that eventually as always here in Spain, died down as the evening progressed along with white lanterns hung on the gazebos and over the bar.
We loved the table names, all named after bands with the Commitments as the top table! My favourite table name was the grown up girls table, The New York Dolls!
More fabulous photos to come of this wedding, including the church, when I have nagged the photographer to boredom and beyond :) x
